Biography

Jean-Phillip Bernard is an associated partner of mas. He is the founder and chairman of Beryl Management. He focuses mainly on banking industry and Public Sector work, and has an extensive consulting background. This includes numerous process optimisation projects, cooperation concepts for external asset managers, risk management, development of Key Performance Indicators in private banking, operative coaching of back office, interim management of a Private Banking department, the strategic framework for the implementation of a new IT-platform, control and management of several major projects in connection with the Y2K, the Euro and Basel II.

Among his clients are large international banks such as UBS, BNP Paribas, ABN AMRO and Deutsche Bank, as well as regional and private banks. His specialties are banking organisation, development of process-modelling tools, risk management and contingency.
 He is an associated professor in banking organisation at the University of Finance and the IFGP in Geneva.

Jean-Philippe is a graduate engineer of the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. He is a Swiss and French citizen and speaks French, English and German.
